On 21st June 2010, 2 groups of riders set off from The Three Horseshoes in Winkwell for the annual Summer Solstice ride to Ivinghoe Beacon.

We started off along the canal and soon headed up Bullbeggars Lane to Potten End. From there we went through the woods (with optional bungholes!) towards The Monument at Ashridge andonto Ivinghoe Beacon. We saw a fantastic sunset before heading down to The Valiant Trooper in Aldbury for a drink and home. The verdict: 10 out of 10 - an exhilarating ride in perfect conditions! Judy
